Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
This lightly worn first-year Kansas City Scouts road jersey was donned by defenceman Bart Crashley, who returned to the NHL with the 1974-75 expansion team after spending the WHA's first two seasons with the Los Angeles Sharks. Crashley contributed 9 points in 27 games with Kansas City before he was dealt to Detroit. Lively and colorful blue dureen creation features size 48 Wilson tag sewn into the back of the neck. A superb triple-twill white-red-and-white team crest features the team's logo rendered with intricate blue, white and yellow thread cable stitching. A faint diagonal stick mark on the left side of the crest is among the very limited obvious wear to report on this rare Scouts gamer which features a "1974" season set tag sewn inside the right rear tail.
