A fascinating lot of original Maple Leaf Gardens documents feature a vintage journal voucher binder dated from April 5, 1932 - the date of Toronto's Stanley Cup final 6-4 opening game win over the New York Rangers - to October 31, 1933. Frank Selke's original signature appears alone six times. The Hall-of-Famer's initials appear on another 23 documents while his signature with Smythe's initials is featured 19 more times. Conn Smythe has initialed five separate documents and Foster Hewitt's signature appears on two more. Included in this treasure trove of original MLG documents from the great arena's earliest days are records of orders for seats and stock certificates, insurance policy correspondence regarding Smythe, Day, Primeau and Bailey and expense reports for 1932 Stanley Cup finals travel! "The British Treasury Cabinet Binding Case No 12" binder has "No. 2, Maple Leaf Gardens Ltd" on its Grand & Toy label and is housed in its original 9 1/4" x 12 1/2" x 3 1/2" sleeve.
