A high grade example of a card featuring the likeness of Hall-of-Famer Hooley Smith. Pictured here in his Montreal Maroons uniform, Hooley Smith excelled during his seventeen seasons in the National Hockey League. A prolific goal scorer, he retired in 1941 as one of the few skaters to reach the 200-goal mark. He was considered a fierce opponent and one of the most physically imposing combatants in the league. Smiths card from the 1936-37 O-Pee-Chee Series D pop-up issue appears to be unfolded and sports nice corners. The good folks at KSA have examined this one, sealed the card between two slabs of Lucite and awarded an impressive grade of NM 7.
