Dandy duo here is highlighted by a splendid piece of lumber which was, like one side of the paper label boasts, "Made To Stand The Strain Of Canada's Greatest Game." Black puck marks are on the rather narrow untaped blade, where Spalding in block letters is stamped. A 6" blade crack was neatly repaired with glue decades ago. The paper label meanwhile also has "The Spalding No. 2 Hockey Stick" on one side and three company logos on another. Straight-bladed relic is stamped "Neutral" up by the butt end and is mighty cool indeed. It is joined by a similar vintage stick whose label however has mostly disappeared, save for a small section that reads "Endorsed by Canadian Hockey Club." The blade is slightly curved, indicating use by a right handed shot. Also in solid condition and awaiting your
big-time antique stick collection.
