Sharpshooter Steve Yzerman wore this jersey with the Detroit Red Wings during the 1985-86 season, his third year in the National Hockey League. The beautiful red and white uniform, made by CCM and Eastside, displays the embroidered Red Wings winged-wheel team logo on the chest and the Red Wings 60th Anniversary commemorative patch embroidered directly onto the left shoulder. Number 19 is sewn on the back and both sleeves and Yzerman is sewn in an arch directly onto the jersey on the back above the numbers. Born-on tag in the neck is inscribed85 07 covered by a washed-out Maska tag. This fantastic jersey exhibits lighter game use with about a dozen stick marks on the lower front with a handful more on the arms. Eastside is sewn on the outer rear hem across from the red/red/blue CCM company logo and a smaller Velcro-and-snap fight strap is affixed inside. Yzerman played a shortened season of 51 games in 1985-86, scoring 14 goals and recording 42 points. He would more than double his goals the next year and go on to record his first 50-goal season in 1987-88, well on his way to a Hall of Fame career.
