The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
Ce lot est fermé pour enchérir. Enchère terminée le
A fantastic piece of hockey history, this official NHL goal used for Canadiens home games was originally acquired at the Montreal Forums closing auction. Held the evening after the Canadiens final game in the famous arena, the auction put up for sale a treasure trove of memorabilia, including this metal masterpiece that Ken Dryden defended and Guy Lafleur filled with pucks. The red paint remains on these fantastic4 x 6 pipes that likely date from the 1970s, though the skirt along the base of the netting has been removed to expose the red metal base and replacement mesh has been mounted in place of the original net. Needless to say, special shipping arrangements will be necessary for this unique collectors item. Youll have to drive hard to the net with your bidding if you want to score this winning goal!
