At 1:02 of the 2nd period during Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals, Jacques Lemaire found the twine for the second Habs marker, the game winning goal in the Canadiens 4-1 decision over the New York Rangers to capture their fourth consecutive Stanley Cup. The puck used to score the historic goal was saved and preserved by the team on this striking presentation plaque in wood and blue anodized aluminum. At the top, the Habs logo, followed by the inscribed words (in French) Jacques Lemaire, Winning Goal, Stanley Cup 79. The actual Viceroy Montreal Canadiens goal puck is affixed to the plaque above the details of the scoring (again, in French): Against: NY Rangers, Date: 21-5-79, Time: 1:02, 2nd Period. Measuring 11 x 15 inches, the plaque appears to be in excellent condition, despite some cracking in the Canadiens logo. Hockey history!
