Grouping of four vintage real photo postcards dating back to the early Twenties featuring the Greyhounds of Sault St. Marie, Ontario. The modern Soo Greyhounds are a junior franchise. The team of the Twenties was a senior outfit, playing in the Northern Ontario Hockey Association Senior "A" division. The team won the Senior A championship in 1921, 1923, 1924 and 1925. The 1924 Greyhounds also won the Allan Cup, the only team from Sault Ste. Marie to do so. The first of the four postcards pictures the 1922 team and three more celebrate the squad that brought home the Allan Cup, including a Dominion Champions team photo posed with their trophies, another of the victorious squad inside a massive Allan Cup replica mounted on a train car and still another real photo card showing the victory parade in 1925. All are in near excellent condition apart from a slight tear in the 1922 postcard.
