The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
These nine pucks all made it to hockeys midseason showcase event, the annual NHL All-Star Game. This superb lot includes an Inglasco puck from the Rendez-Vous 87 series in Quebec City when Gretzky and Lemieux led a team of NHL All-Stars in a two-game set against the Soviet national team. The blue part of the familiar Rendez-Vouz 87 logo on the face of the puck is somewhat faded and cracked, while the rest is in great condition. Individual pucks included in this lot from the 1985 All-Star Game in Calgary, the 1989 game in Edmonton, and 1992 in Philadelphia were John Ziegler pucks made by Trench. Two pucks each from the 1987 All-Star Game inSt. Louis and 1993 All-Star Game in Montreal were made by Inglasco, with the signature of NHL president Gil Stein appearing on the Montreal pucks. A Gary Bettman Inglasco puck from the 1996 All-Star Game in Boston completes this cool collection of official NHL All-Star Game pucks.
