Lovely durene feel and vivid colors are striking about this number "12" Canadiens jersey from circa 1975 that conjures up images of speedster Yvan Cournoyer. Tie-neck style jersey (six eyelets) features the Habs' three-layer red, white and blue tackle twill crest sewn on the front, with blue-on-red tackle twill "12"s sewn on the back and sleeves. The numbers are bigger than what are generally seen on Canadiens gamers of the era, although we have in the past sold a Guy Lafleur game used, photo matched jersey with similar size numbers. A once present tag in the collar is no longer there, with a nearby washing instructions tag indicating size 40-42. Not displaying any game use or wear, it's in splendid, tough-to-expect-nicer condition and is at best a team-issued jersey. A fantastic example from a time when the Roadrunner and his mates were striking fear into the opposition with their brand of fire wagon hockey. Oh, weren't the '70s wonderful!
