Eight old photo postcards, each capturing a point along the pro hockey career patch of the incredible Jacques Plante. Plante, who starred for many years in the uniform of the Montreal Canadiens, was a quirky and innovative netminder who often drove fans berserk with his unique and risky playing style. Included in the collection are five different black and white versions from Plantes years in Montreal, two with facsimile sigs on the front and two more with his faux autograph on the reverse. The last Habs card carries a real Plante autograph at the top on the reverse! Also, a posed shot of Jacques in his Toronto Maple Leafs uniform circa 1971, a color postcard from St. Louis from the late-Sixties and an image of the netminder from 1973-74, his final season with the Edmonton Oilers of the World Hockey Association. Overall, in excellent condition.
