Chosen 11th overall by the Canadiens in the 1997 entry draft, right winger Jason Ward wore this No. 61 jersey when he made his NHL debut during the 1999-2000 season. Ward appeared in 32 games as a Montreal rookie and recorded only two goals and one assist. The NHL 2000 patch is sewn onto the right breast and a white Pro Player logo is embroidered onto the right tail, along with a black and silver NHL crest. The “CH” crest on the front, composed of red and blue tackle twill and white embroidery, has a slash mark at the bottom. The elbows of both sleeves exhibit really nice use, with plenty of board burns and slashing cuts. The fight strap and laundry tag inside the left seam remain intact, as do the Starter tag and completely washed out size tag in the neck. This original Habs jersey comes along with a letter of authenticity from the Montreal Canadiens, signed by Rejean Houle.
