The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
Drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1980, Mike McPhee spent all but two years of his pro career in the Habs system. This is Mikes red knit Montreal jersey, worn during the 1990-91 season while the franchise still called the Montreal Forum home. Mikes alternate captains A adorns the chest and his number 35 can be found sewn onto each sleeve and again across the back. Tagged in the neck by Maska Ultrafil with a feint 52 marked there in ballpoint, indicating the size of the shirt. Lots of scuffs and slashes on the sleeves with another stick mark running through the front crest on an angle. Turning the shirt inside-out reveals large areas of heavy pilling. Another wonderful Canadiens sweater! [red] Will come with an LOA. [/red]
