Great patches on Kirk McLean's game-worn jersey from the first game of the 1997-98 season in Japan, including the "GAME ONE '97 JAPAN" patch on the left shoulder and the 1998 All-Star Game patch on the right breast. McLean wore this white gamer, which debuted the Canucks' new "Orca" crest and colour scheme, while making 32 saves in Vancouver's 3-2 win over Anaheim on Oct. 3, the first of two games at Tokyo's Yoyogi Arena marking the first ever NHL regular season games played outside of North America. CCM goalie style and size 58 flag tags are in the neck and the fight strap has been cut. Game use on this special jersey shows in repaired hole on right sleeve, light black marks on left front and upper left sleeve and red paint transfer mark to right of nameplate. Comes with Kirk McLean's signed LOA.
