The 1994 Stanley Cup final patch sits on the right breast of Kirk McLean's Vancouver Canucks jersey. Kirk's #1 Canucks jersey is properly done up for the seven-game final against the New York Rangers with the Canuck Place patch in its customary place on the right shoulder and the "2 Pts. F.G." patch in memory of owner Frank Griffiths relocated from the right breast to the left shoulder to make way for the finals patch. Maska Ultrafil and size 56 flag tags remain in the neck. It is a known fact that multiple jerseys were issued to the Canucks' star players during the 1994 Stanley Cup final, and it is believed that all of the sets of the Stanley Cup jerseys were given to the players after the last game. Because of these facts, and also because this jersey shows very light wear, if any, besides the noticeable corrosion and staining on the intact fight strap which shows evidence of being washed by the team, this Stanley Cup jersey was likely a team spare that might have been used at the very best only for a few games by McLean in the Stanley Cup final. Comes with Kirk McLean's signed LOA.
