Kirk McLean’s first NHL shutout was hardly a softy as he stoned Mario Lemieux’s Pittsburgh Penguins! Pair of mementos from McLean’s personal collection include his Canucks locker nameplate and his first career shutout puck trophy. A Canucks Inglasco NHL puck is mounted with a pair of screws in the back on a 6-inch tall piece of Lucite screwed into the back of a 4x7 wood base. The plaque on the front details the date of the milestone shutout, February 17, 1988, the shots on goal by both teams, including the 27 directed by the Penguins at McLean, and the 5-0 final score. Comes with Kirk McLean’s signed LOA.
