His last of five NHL stops made during his Hall of Fame career, Jari Kurri would don a Colorado Avalanche sweater for a single season. This signed and photo-matched Avalanche jersey was worn by the nine-time All-Star in 1997-98, his final season in the NHL. Starter labeling along with a “56-R-8-21” size swatch sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the multi-coloured partially embroidered Avs team crest, the V-neck has been embellished with textured and layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Kurri has signed the top of the back number "7" in fine black marker and the autograph which reads "Jari Kurri 17, 1998" is nice and clean. The sweater has a pair of team repairs high on the right sleeve, one above the number "17" and the other to its right, with an additional pair of sewing fixes on the left sleeve elbow. Additional wear includes a burn on the right shoulder with a few more showing on the lower sleeves. Numerous game marks are also exhibited on the sleeves and body of the jersey. The jersey is photo-matched to January 2nd 1998 Getty Images #276122 to the long dark big vertical black mark going through the team crest and the small black marks located on the top area of the aforementioned crest. A printed photo of the match is included as well as an LOA.
