Hall of Fame centre Jacques Lemaire found a novel way to ensure that he would be able to display both sides of his first NHL goal puck - he cut it in half! The New York Rangers' crest appears on the rubberized orange octagon on the half of this milestone puck displayed on the right side of the
16 1/2" x 26" homey wood frame. Lemaire scored his first goal at the old Madison Square Garden in the Canadiens' 2-2 tie with the Rangers on October 18, 1967 in Montreal's fourth game of the season. He would go on to win the Stanley Cup at the end of his rookie season, the first of an astounding eight Cups he won during his 12-year playing career. The NHL official puck orange octagon is on the other half of the puck, displayed on the left side with a vintage CH crest and Jacques' number "25" in street address numbers above it in the middle. Comes with Jacques Lemaire's signed LOA.
