This remarkable celluloid team photo of the 1952-53 Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens was presented to team captain Emile "Butch" Bouchard back in the day, "With the Compliments of the MacDonald Tobacco Company", as per the card that remains in place on the rear. Delightful full color Habs Stanley Cup picture features Butch with the C on his sweater standing tall in the back row. Maurice "Rocket" Richard is seated between rookie goalie Jacques Plante and longtime linemate Elmer Lach, who scored the overtime winner at the Forum against Boston to give the Canadiens their seventh Stanley Cup. This unique 11" x 19 3/4" team photo is wonderfully preserved and features the names of all of the members of the team listed along the bottom. Comes with Butch Bouchard's signed LOA.
