This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Incredible piece from the first NHL All-Star Game in 1947 is this sterling silver pocket knife gifted to the late Emile "Butch" Bouchard, who represented the Montreal Canadiens along with fellow deceased HOFers "Rocket" Richard, Durnan and Reardon. The ornate initial "B" graces one side of the square silver case of the knife with "'Butch' Bouchard NHL All-Star Game Toronto 1947 From Maple Leaf Gardens" engraved on the other side. Spectacular personal keepsake from the All-Stars' 4-3 win over the reigning Stanley Cup champion Toronto Maple Leafs comes in its original box, with "Hickok" on the lid and inside the cover, and Butch Bouchard's signed LOA. Manufacturer “Hickock USA” and “Sterling” are stamped on both sides. There is no marking on the chain, which may or may not be silver.
