Maurice "Rocket" Richard made history during the 1944-45 season when he scored 50 goals in 50 games. The late Emile "Butch" Bouchard's original Montreal Canadiens team photo from that season shows the Rocket seated beside GM Tom Gorman on the right side of the front row. "Canadiens – NHL Champions – 1944" reads the white letter heading above the members of the reigning Stanley Cup champions posed outdoors, featuring the likes of fellow HOFers Lach, Durnan, O'Connor, Blake and coach Dick Irvin, with team members' names along the bottom and "Photo Laurent Marsan" in the bottom right of this wonderfully preserved vintage print. It has been professionally framed and displays to about 7 1/4" x 18 3/4" with a few light creases that are barely discernible. Comes with Butch Bouchard's signed LOA. Bouchard’s original 1944-45 Canadiens team photo is mounted in an off-white and black double matte and displayed in a 14 3/4" x 26” frame.
