The late, great Doug Harvey's 1973 Hockey Hall of Fame induction ring was obtained from a close friend of Harvey who was gifted the ring by the legendary defenceman. A seven-time Norris Trophy winner, Harvey claimed six Stanley Cups with the Canadiens, including his first in 1953 and Montreal's record run of five in a row from 1956 to 1960. This original HOF creation by Jostens is a 14-karat gold beauty that was enhanced with a band of 22 diamonds in a customized setting around the bezel. "D.N. Harvey June 73" is engraved behind the tableau inside the size 10 band which is stamped "14K" with only "Jo" remaining from the manufacturer's marking that has worn off. Some of the white and green enamel remains on the well-worn HOF logo on the tableau. It weighs in at about 15 grams with scratches and nicks that do not diminish this historic treasure's display.
