Bobby Hull tied Maurice Richard and Bernie Geoffrion's record of 50 goals during the 1961-62 season but before he did used this puck to tie another one of their records on Saturday, March 17, 1962 at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens. Hull's goal at 2:35 of the second period was his 47th of the season, proved to be the game-winner, and gave him a goal in nine consecutive games. Bill Hay and Eric Nesterenko drew assists as Bobby beat Leafs goalie Don Simmons. The Hawks beat Toronto 3-1. Original Six Maple Leafs game puck was then bronzed and had an engraved plaque added. Great milestone puck will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Bobby Hull.
