An exceptional piece that we have not seen before, this big pillowcase measures a little over 20" by 21" and is a true antique, having survived over 100 years. Appearing along the bottom edge is "Copyright 1902 by Campbell, Metzger & Jacobson." Image on cloth is a good representation of period sticks, skates and uniforms. Light spots of soiling are to mention, along with the soft, silk-like orange-brown backing. The right edge was slit to remove the interior contents, leaving a marvelous piece to frame or make into a wall-hanging.
