Rookie Year O-Pee-Chee’s 1979-80 card set featuring the all important Wayne Gretzky rookie card highlights this lot with Wayne’s RC easily grading EX-MT and falling into some people’s NRMT grade with less than perfect centering and a slight touch of wear on the upper right corner. Rest of the set is also generally sharp and clean as are sets from ‘80-81, ‘81-82, ‘85-86 and ‘88-89. The ‘80-81 set, with RCs of Bourque (EX-MT) and Messier (NRMT) is actually 11 cards shy of completion while Mario Lemieux’s RC in the ‘85-86 set has a light crease.
