Item description
An important chapter in Bryan Trottier’s march to the 1000-point plateau came Tuesday, December 13th, 1983, in front of New York Islander faithful. Bryan assisted on Mike Bossy’s opening goal 28 seconds into the game and then made it 4-0 at 5:17 of the first, his 19th of the season, assisted by Bossy and Denis Potvin, representing his 900th NHL career point. Grant Fuhr and the Oilers were the victims as the Isles outscored their opponents 8-5. The Islanders Viceroy game puck that Trottier used to accomplish the feat is mounted here (looks to be glued) on blue velvet and incorporated into a wooden plaque. The details and an Islanders logo appear on a metal plaque below. A chip in the puck to mention, along with the fact that the marvelous memento will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
