Ever-popular red knit Canadiens road jersey is from the 1980’s and has a CCM patch sewn onto the rear hem. No longer tagged jersey measures out to size 50 and had the nameplate removed with part of the stitching still there. Players to don number 18 during the 1980’s were Jeff Brubaker, Bill Root, Tom Kurvers and Mathieu Schneider. With a sewn-on tri-color Habs crest and “18”s on the back and sleeves, the jersey shows great game use with 17 mostly circular team repairs on the front, 17 on the sleeves and three on the back. A 2-inch by 1-inch “L” shaped slice went unrepaired on the left sleeve. Blue paint transfer through the “8” on the back, interior pilling and around the neckline, and a rusty/salty fight strap are also of note. Great chance to pick up an affordable 1980’s Canadiens gamer.
