A career minor leaguer after being taken 202nd overall by the Rangers in the 1990 draft, Wisconsin native Jon Hillebrandt spent parts of three seasons in Binghamton, most notably appearing in 36 games during the ’95-96 AHL season. Featuring painted skyscrapers on the sides and a big red apple above the cage, Jon’s cool New York skyline mask shows nice game use with a few puck marks and scrapes, as well as a sweat-stained foam chin pad on the inside. All padding and terrycloth sweatband at the forehead is intact, while “Hillie” appears on the back plate. Obtained by our consignor from Byron’s Hockeyland, the neat piece will come with documentation from Byron’s.
