After moving past the Calgary Flames in the Smythe Division series, the Edmonton Oilers would face the Chicago Blackhawks for the Campbell Conference Finals to continue their post-season run in 1982-83. Andy Moog was outstanding in net and the offense combined for a total of 25 goals over the series. Glenn Anderson scored the game winners in games two and three and Jaroslav Pouzar would close the season for Chicago in the final match on May 3rd as the Hawks went down in four straight. Direct from the rafters of the Edmonton Coliseum, now Rexall Place, we offer the original Campbell Conference Championship banner, hung to celebrate and commemorate the Edmonton Oilers 1982-83post-season title. This massive double-sided orange nylon banner measuring approximately 4 by 12 feet, proudly displays the team logo with "NHL Campbell Conference" above and "Champions 82-83" below. All logos, lettering and numbering have been individually applied to this historical one-of-a-kind display. From the archives of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club, with accompanying letter of authenticity on team letterhead signed by Oilers General Manager Kevin Lowe.
