Some ancient game programs in this lot to excite vintage publication enthusiasts. Highlights include a Boston Arena program from the Rangers' first ever playoff game, a semi-final 0-0 tie in the first of a 2-game-total-goals series played April 2, 1927. The Rangers program from the second game of the same series (3-1 Boston win) has an image of Bill Cook on the cover. A '32-33 Bruins program pictures Art Ross on the cover and is from a March 21st game versus New York, while a '36-37 Madison Square Garden program pits the Rangers against the Leafs in a January 24th battle. There are '27-28 and '52-53 MSG programs without line up pages and five such 4-page loose affairs, one each from '26-27, '28-29, '30-31, '31-32 and '32-33. Two splendid non-NHL programs complete the lot; one from a January 6, 1921 game between the Canadian Soo (with the Cook brothers) and Michigan Soo (pictures and profiles of the Canadian team are included) and another from a '28-29 junior game between the Marlboros and Ottawa Shamrocks, played at Toronto's "Arena Gardens" and picturing dozens of NHL players. Rare pubs are in "vg" or lesser condition but will highly intrigue historians. A letter of authenticity from the Cook family will be included.
