Great lot of photos includes 20 action shots featuring Rangers Hall of Fame goaltender Chuck Rayner and Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe as well as 30 posed shots of Rayner in front of his net. Rayner was invaluable to the weak Rangers teams for which he played and a true testament of that value came in 1949-50 when he won the Hart Trophy as league MVP. A master of the pokecheck who taught the skill to Johnny Bower, Rayner was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1973. He died in October of 2002. The action shots are all signed in blue sharpie while the posed photos include blue, black and gold ink signatures.
