On October 30th, 1975 at Boston Garden, Johnny Bucyk poked one past a sprawling Yves Belanger of the St. Louis Blues and the Bruins took the two points as the game ended with a score of 3-2 for Boston. This was the 500th NHL regular season goal of Johnny Bucyk's career scored in his 1370th game. Only six before him had reached the plateau including teammate Phil Esposito the previous season, Frank Mahovlich, Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Jean Beliveau and the great Maurice Richard. John retrieved the milestone puck from behind Belanger's crease and it has been respectfully mounted on a sheet of aluminum emblazoned with the image of the famous milestone marker above the headline "John Bucyk's 500th Goal vs. St. Louis, 10-30-75". In excellent condition, framed to a finished size of 17x23 inches. Hockey history! From the personal collection of Johnny Bucyk with his signed letter of authenticity.
