Amazing personal collection pictures Jean Beliveau and his various teammates at different stages of his pre-NHL career. The earliest is a 1945 shot of the Saint-Louis de Gonzague Academy team. The Sacred Heart Brothers taught the boys there and this was the first time Beliveau set skates on a "real" rink. The towering teenager is smack dab in the middle of the ‘48-49 Victoriaville Tigers photo - his first year of junior. Beliveau led the Quebec Citadels junior team for the next two years and is pictured at the far right of the first row. The ‘51-52 Quebec Aces picture, one not often seen, includes Beliveau in the middle of the second row as well as Carnegie, Crozier, Leclair, Bonin, captain Renaud, goaltender Marois and coach Imlach. The framed photos measure approximately 13" x 11" and overall condition is excellent. Truly thought-provoking pieces will be accompanied by Jean Beliveau's signed LOA.
