Terrific trophy features the puck with which the great Jean Beliveau scored the last regular season goal of his remarkable Hall of Fame career. Number 507 came Saturday night, April 3, 1971 in front of the hometown Montreal Forum crowd. Frank Mahovlich and J.C. Tremblay drew assists on the 3rd period goal against the Rangers' Gilles Villemure as the Habs beat New York 7-2. The Converse Canadiens game puck was later incorporated into this handsome trophy with plaques produced listing the details. Beliveau in the following weeks would go on to write an amazing final chapter to his storied playing career, first leading the underdog Habs to a huge upset of the regular season champion Boston Bruins in the opening round of the playoffs, before successive victories over Minnesota and Chicago. As captain of the Canadiens he hoisted the Stanley Cup for a record fifth time and left the game a champion in every respect. Beautiful trophy is in awesome near mint condition and deserves a special home. It will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by the one and only Jean Beliveau.
