Once a display at the Hall of Fame in Toronto, this interesting piece pictures the team of NHL All-Stars which played against a team of Montreal Canadiens and Maroons in the Howie Morenz memorial game in 1937. The stars included Conacher, Horner, Shore, Clapper, Boucher, Jackson, Day and Tiny Thompson, and are pictured here in both their team uniforms and the special sweaters they wore for the game. The bottom part of the display includes reproductions of the covers of the Morenz and Babe Siebert memorial game programs, along with a shot of the 1951 NHL All-Stars which featured youngsters Sawchuk, Howe and Kelly. The images are on a half-inch thick foam board and make for an intriguing display.
