Item description
Very popular amongst collectors, these awards are given to NHLers whose excellence and longevity represent many years of hard work. The most heralded player to arrive in the league when he joined the Canadiens for the ‘53-54 season, Jean Beliveau lived up to all the advance billing and left the game as one of its all-time greats. The trophy stands just a tad under 12" high and features a tall, thin pyramid-style solid crystal obelisk by Tiffanys on a black wooden base. An engraved sterling silver plate reads "To Jean Beliveau in recognition of the Milestone achievements 507 goals, 712 assists and 1125 games". In excellent-plus condition with a rough front edge below the silver plaque which also is engraved "Tiffany & Co." and "Sterling". Jean Beliveau, the man who was just the fourth player to reach 500 career goals, will sign a LOA that will be included with this terrific award. An autographed photo of Beliveau accepting the award from John Ziegler will also be included.
