Item description
Stunning miniature replica of the Hart Memorial Trophy commemorates Jean Beliveau's awesome 1955-56 MVP season. In just his third year in the NHL, the towering center was dominating, leading the league in goals (47) as well as points (88) to win the Art Ross Trophy as scoring champion. His 12 goals in the playoffs tied Rocket Richard's record and the Canadiens won their first of 5 straight Stanley Cups, with Beliveau seeing his name engraved on hockey's ultimate prize for the first time. This silver-plated miniature of one of hockey's most important individual rewards was produced in recent years by Boffey and features golden flames which engulf the crown of the award. The engaved metal plate applied to the 3-inch high wooden base reads: "Jean Beliveau - Montreal Canadiens - 1955-56". A splendid reminder of Mr. Beliveau's brilliance during a wonderful time in Canadiens' history, the trophy is in outstanding difficult-to-hope-for nicer condition. A letter of authenticity signed by the all-time great will be included
