This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Penguins captain Sidney Crosby used this Reebok gamer on February 10, 2010, mere weeks before he scored the golden goal that gave Canada an Olympic gold medal win on home ice in Vancouver! Sid the Kid scored 51 goals in 2009-10 to share the Maurice Richard Trophy with Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos. “2/10/10 vs. New York Islanders (3-1) Win” reads the white lettering on the black sticker label affixed low on the bottom of the shaft of this Reebok Sickick II Technology composite gamer with “S. Crosby 2” factory graphics printed below his tape job on the knob. The top edge of the blade has a couple of chips towards the toe through Crosby’s original tape job. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
Crosby’s number "87" is handwritten in black marker on the front of the top of the tape job on the knob. Frameworth hologram sticker is affixed low on the front of the shaft.
