Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

Patrick Roy’s 1993-94 Montreal Canadiens game-worn jersey is fresh off a Stanley Cup conquest the previous season when Saint Patrick also won the second of his record three Conn Smythe trophies. Originally obtained from a member of the Montreal Canadiens by Classic Auctions in the early-2000s, it has a very short name bar that is correct for that period. The snap-style fight strap is intact inside the back, and CCM and NHL logos embroidered on right rear tail and Maska Ultrafil and size 56 fly tags in the back of the neck are all consistent with other Habs jerseys from that season. Game wear includes a few light black marks on the front and a board burn on the blue band on the back of the right sleeve. Light pilling on the lower left front is typical for goalie wear, and there is a large area of inner pilling in the upper right arm and shoulder. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
