Stunning celebration of the Penguins’ run to the cup in 1991. This real salesman’s sample boasts the name of one of the greatest players of all time, Mario Lemieux. The tableau is a work of art – the skating Penguin is highlighted by a pear shaped stone across the chest and surrounded by another sixteen sparkling CZ gems, all encircled by the proclamation “Stanley Cup Champions” and the year “1991”. One shank sports Super Mario’s surname and number "66" with a raised image of the Stanley cup while the other shank is decorated with the words “Pittsburgh Penguins” along with an intricate image of the Prince of Wales Trophy. This solid gold ring by Jostens is stamped inside the band "Property of Jostens not for resale" and has salesman’s sample numbers "7955-6" and "A13452" engraved on the inner band. Size 10.5 ring, has a weight of about 30 grams, it exhibits minor scuffing/scratches but remains in excellent condition overall and displays beautifully. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
A small section on the inner band of the ring was lightly scratched by a jeweler to confirm that it was 10K gold.
