Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
As another in a long line of fundraising campaigns for the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, the Montreal Canadiens wore jerseys with patches on the right breast that read "La Fondation Des Canadiens Pour L'Enfance" during the warm-up before the March 13th, 2013 game against the Ottawa Senators, which the team later sold to the public. Offered is Alex Galchenyuk's signed jersey from that pregame warmup with size 56 flag tag in the back of the neck and the Foundation’s crest sewn on the right breast. Galchenyuk placed a big bold black marker autograph in the middle of the “2” on the back, and a CH hologram sticker is affixed to the bottom of the “7”, both numbers in sewn-on white and blue double twill. Canadiens 2012-13 Game-Worn Jersey patch with registry number is sewn inside the rear tail. There is a tiny reddish-brown spot stain on the upper white band on the back inside the upper portion of the 2. Comes with a Canadiens LOA.
