This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
The 1971-72 Dallas Black Hawks won the Adams Cup as champions of the Central Hockey League. Dan Maloney, J.P. Bordeleau and John Marks were among the Black Hawks who claimed the title, which is commemorated with this beautiful 10-karat gold front office bauble that was presented back in the day and weighs about 30 grams. There are approximately 48 points worth of rubies set in the tableau surrounding the gold team logo on the face. “CHL Champions 1972 Black Hawks” is spelled out around the bezel. “Bailey” is appears atop the Adams Cup on the left shank and “Dallas” is atop the crossed tomahawks “D” secondary team logo on the right shank. “RVB” is engraved inside the size 8 1/2 band, which has the "Balfour 10K" stamp. Wonderfully preserved with sharp details, wear shows in surface scratches and a few minor nicks.
