Longtime pursuers of pre-war Canadian non-sport issues will be thrilled and able to seize the importance and significance of this fantastic find. Mickey Mouse, that popular American cultural icon created by Walt Disney, made an appearance in Canada in the 1930s on cards produced by O-Pee-Chee, the fronts of which mirror a set of 96 Gum Inc. cards released in the U.S. We’ve examined each card here and are pleased to report that this rare V303 lot of 89 features, get this, 63 crease-free EX-or-better examples, including card #1 at EX+. With just 253 similar Canadian versions showing up on the PSA Population Report as of press time and none of certain numbers, this lot has the potential to wield several interesting PSA chart-toppers. A light crease or two send 19 others here to the VG and VG+ grades, while a couple of fillers and five other low grade cards complete this inviting group. Required to complete the jackpot are #s 3, 5, 8, 9, 12, 14 and 84.
