Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
A high scorer in junior with Oshawa, crafty center Marc Savard found his NHL mark with Calgary, putting together back-to-back 20-goal seasons for the Flames before wearing this home white CCM air-knit uniform in 2001-02. The Flames logo is screened-on in the inner hem and is joined by “Calgary Flames Hockey Club – 2001-2002 NHL Season – White Jersey – Set 2 #1 of 1.” Heavy game use is to report with the front and sleeves plastered with black stick marks. Board burns on the sleeves resulted in a quarter-size team repair on the left elbow, with some one dozen marks of red paint transfer counted on the sleeves. A pea-size stain is in the white within the big team logo on the front, the latter exhibiting a few good scrapes. With CCM and size 54 tags in the collar, the jersey will be accompanied by an LOA on Flames’ letterhead.
