Magnificent collection of deceased HOFers William and Foster Hewitt’s 1920s and ‘30s sport medal and pin collection of 15 features the elder Hewitt’s 1928 St. Moritz Winter Olympics “Officiel” badge. This original treasure from the second Olympic Winter Games measures 1 1/4" (32 mm) in diameter. The silvered-badge retains almost all of its original enamel paint job with very nice colors. There are 12 medals with ribbons, 10 of which are from the 1920s and ‘30s, including an “Official” pin for the 1932 Canadian Olympic Trials in Hamilton. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA and two post-it notes signed by Foster Hewitt's wife , Joan D. Hewitt, in regards to the provenance of the medals, which are stated as being from Foster Hewitt and his father William.
