Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015

An important cog in the Leafs’ scheme of things for over a decade, Tomas Kaberle donned this attractive jersey during the 2003-04 playoffs. Toronto took out Ottawa in seven games before falling to Philadelphia in six. Koho and size 56 tags are in the collar, while tagging in the inner rear hem features the NHL and MeiGray logos and reads “NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2003-2004 Season – B08573.” With “Kaberle” sewn on a nameplate and an NHL logo embroidered into the rear hem, the jersey shows interesting game use, with a few black stick marks on each sleeve, more on the lower front and a 1-1/2” team repair in the white of the right elbow. Worn by an appreciated defenceman, this beauty awaits its new appreciative home.
