The 2012-13 Chicago Blackhawks roared out of the gate in the lockout-shortened 48-game regular season to claim the Presidents’ Trophy. The Hawks started 21-0-3 for the third-longest consecutive game points streak in NHL history. Chicago, which went on to win the Stanley Cup for the second time in four years, and finished 36-7-5 for 77 points, five ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins, who finished second overall in the league. This personal Presidents' Trophy was presented to Blackhawks video coach Tim Campbell. This silver-plated beauty stands 16” tall with a removable top on a circular setting atop three crossed hockey sticks. The NHL crest is displayed below that on the upper front of the trophy. “National Hockey League Presidents’ Trophy, Tim Campbell, Chicago Blackhawks 2012-13” is engraved on the plaque on the front of the triangular base. Comes with Tim Campbell’s signed LOA.
The trophy’s original “Boffey” felt bag with the Blackhawks logo and a zipper top is included. The three pillars of the trophy are loose from the base. Otherwise, the trophy remains in splendid condition.
