Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

From star defenceman to assistant coach, J.J. Daigneault’s time with Montreal has been special throughout his regular and post-career, serving as the Habs assistant coach from 2012 to the conclusion of the 2017-18 NHL season. We have an attractive trophy awarded to the Montreal native for his first victory behind the bench with the Canadiens, occurring on Jan 22nd 2013, the Habs second game of the season, with the late start due to the lockout imposed by NHL franchise owners. At 7” in height and with a dignified appearance, a Canadiens game puck from the contest sits above a crystal mount, set atop a black octagon-shaped base. A silver metal plaque with full colour Habs logo has been affixed to the base listing the particulars including the date “22 Janvier 2013”, opponent “Florida” and score “4-1”. With just very light wear to the “Jean-Jacques Daigneault” text, the award remains in wonderful condition, with a signed LOA from Daigneault to accompany.
