Skating for the Canadiens in parts of 7 of his 15 NHL seasons, J.J. Daigneault would spend another 6 seasons behind the bench as an assistant coach with the Habs, from 2012-13 to the conclusion of the 2017-18 NHL season. We have a small collection of items from Daigneault’s time as assistant coach in Montreal, with each item hailing from his personal collection. Included, we have a large and framed photo of Daigneault in action during a practice, a pair of signed skates, a full training/track suit, a Habs equipment bag, cufflinks made from game-used items and CH-logo earrings. The photo is approx. 18” x 24”, framed to full dimensions of approx. 26 ¾” x 32 ¾”. The skates are Bauer Nexus 1000 models with Tuuk blades, with stickers affixed to the underside listing “1145 4TC9”, with each having “J J” handwritten. Showing light but definite use, each skate has been signed along the outside section in silver, with no issues for the signatures. The track suit is in navy blue with full colour Habs logos over the chest and left pant leg, with “L” sizing along the collar from Adidas. The equipment bag is in Habs red with blue trim with logos over each side, along with an inserted “J.J. Daigneault” placard. Lastly, the aforementioned jewelry includes a pair of cufflinks with a black surface and parts of both Canadiens and NHL logos visible, stamped “Sterling” and “Canadiens” over the reverse, with the Tokens and Icons display box having “Authentic Game Used” over the lid with an NHL logo. The silver-coloured CH-logo earrings are unmarked, accompanied by an Ex Aurum jewelry box. A signed LOA from Daigneault will accompany.
