Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Legendary coach Toe Blake’s 1950s Montreal Canadiens team jacket features a superb chain-stitched red, white and blue CH team crest sewn on the left breast of the red portion. McNiece’s tagging sits in the left pocket of the red jacket, which is reversible to a white jacket with red, white and blue knit collar and cuffs, though the left cuff is missing. Aside from that and the tears and fraying on the right cuff, the red side of the jacket is quite nice while the white side exhibits numerous marks and stains on various areas. This cool piece of Canadiens coaching history measures out to about a size 40 and makes for a memorable piece from the man who guided the Habs to eight Stanley Cups. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
